3-21-22 COMMUNTIY INVITED TO CELEBRATE WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY

Monday, 3-21 is “World Down Syndrome Day” to raise awareness the Down Syndrome Association of Santa Barbara County (DSASBC) is inviting the community to join in the day. 

Joe’s Café at 536 State Street is hosting an All Day Fundraiser where they will be donating 10% of all sales to the DSASBC.  So come on down enjoy great food and drinks and support an even greater cause.  Hours 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM

Join in a “Flash Mob” at 6pm in front of Joe’s Café (536 State Street) led by La Boheme Professional Dance Group, the entire community is invited to dance or just come cheer us on!

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) the 21st of March, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.  The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
